Good to know

  • NC(V) internal examinations are written in the second or third term, for at most fourteen days.
  • On lecturing staff service days there are no students on campus: lecturers use them for lesson and assessment planning, meetings, training, work-integrated learning and administration.
  • All NATED (Report 191) examinations are quality assured by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).
  • Final examination dates were revised at Umalusi's request, so that exams run smoothly and results are released on time.
  • Occupational programmes have two registration cycles, January/February and July/August, which also helps with NSFAS administration. The college plans each programme's rotation with employers, and opens and closes on the dates of this calendar.
