Learn the theory and practice of building and civil construction: materials, plans, bricklaying, carpentry and concrete work.
Learn electrical principles and practice, from wiring and installations to electronics and electrical systems.
Learn mechanical engineering basics: workshop practice, engineering drawing, fitting, welding and materials.
Learn programming and robotics: coding, electronics, and building and controlling robots and automated systems.

All of these programmes are funded by the NSFAS bursary. If you qualify for an NSFAS bursary, your tuition is covered. You apply for the bursary separately on the NSFAS website.
It shows how advanced a qualification is. Grade 12 (Matric) is NQF Level 4, so a Level 5 programme is one step above Matric.
A national vocational qualification that combines theory with practical training. You study it at three levels, NQF Level 2, 3 and 4, taking one year per level.
