Questions new students ask

Do I have to pay?

Programmes marked “Covered by NSFAS bursary” are paid for by the bursary if you qualify. For the others, you (or a sponsor or employer) pay the tuition fee.

What does “NQF Level” mean?

It shows how advanced a qualification is. Grade 12 (Matric) is NQF Level 4, so a Level 5 programme is one step above Matric.

What is an occupational programme?

A qualification built around one job, with a lot of practical, workplace-style learning. These programmes are accredited by the QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations).
